Our Mission
The mission of the Macedonian Association of Renewable Energy Sources (MARES) is to unite and empower stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, enabling a just and sustainable transition to clean energy, improving the business environment, thus driving collaboration between public and private sectors and achieving eco-friendly and sustainable energy landscape in North Macedonia.

Support for Sustainable Energy Production: Sustainability, serving as a cornerstone of MARES’ activities, involves actively supporting the production and use of energy from renewable sources to promote sustainable development. The association advocates for policies and initiatives that foster the growth of renewable energy projects while ensuring their alignment with sustainability principles and the highest environmental standards.

Environmental Protection and Awareness: The association focuses on the protection and improvement of environmental conditions through the promotion of “green energy” and the awareness of the significance of renewables in environmental protection. MARES runs awareness campaigns and initiatives that highlight the environmental benefits of renewable energy sources.
